A glance at the pie charts compares populations in ages of two specific countries: Italy and Yemen in 2000 and 2050. Overall, 15-50-year-old citizens always account for a significant proportion.
Regarding each country, in 2000, people above 60 years old in Yemen made up roughly 50& whereas 0-14-year-old people held a minor percentage of 3.6% and the rest was 15-59 years group. However, in 2050, group 15-59 years will be the largest population in the country, followed by group 60+ years, 57.3%, and 37.0% respectively. The proportion of group 0-14 years will increase by 2& in the next 50 years.
About two-thirds of Italy's population was group 15-59 years in 2000. This figure for group 0-14 years was 24.1%, which was 10% higher than people above 60 years old.
