The diagram belows show stages in the development of simple cooking equipment.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparison where relevant.
The diagram illustrates the process of improving cooking utensils. It is indicated that there are three distinct stages from the process, from the initially simple to eventually complicated equipment.
At the first stage in the development of cooking equipment, there is only a simple cooking pot balanced on many stones over many twigs and grass. Moving to the second image, it shows how the equipment has improved by building a shield made of clay around the stone to protect the fire. There is also a hole that is used to put the sticks, as well as, twigs inside the shield.
At the final stage of the diagram, the equipment is more complex. The clay shied is replaced with a metal one combined with a door in order for the entry of air and the flow out of ash. Above the shield, there is an equipment used to support port with handles, as well as clay lining surrounds the utensils. In the bottom, there is a grate for putting charcoal inside.
In fact, cooking equipment has developed significantly to a more complicated level.
