As for dinner, 43% of sodium,37% of saturated fat and 23% of added sugar is consumed during the dinner. What’s more, snacks also play an important role in the nutrient consumption. Near a half of added sugar(42%) is from snacks. They also contain 14% of sodium and 21% of saturated fat, which is similar to the breakfast.
Through comparison, we can learn that breakfast contains least of the nutrients. dinner has the most sodium and saturated fat while snacks have the most added sugar. Therefore, in order to control the amount of nutrients taken by ourselves, the dinner and snacks should be limited first.
