Three pie charts depict the average percentages of how sodium, saturated facts and added sugars in breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks consumed in the USA, which may cause health issues due to excess consumption.
Overall, added sugar is the most significant nutrient in snacks in contrast it is the least significant nutrient in breakfast. On the other hand, sodium contains highly in dinner whereas it is the lowest contribution to both breakfast and snacks. Nutrient as saturated fat makes the biggest portion of the dinner and the smallest portion allocates to breakfast.
Breakfast contains 14% of Sodium and 16% of both saturated fat and added sugar and it is the meal which is having the less nutrients. Lunch consists of 29% sodium, 26% of saturated fat and 19% of added sugar. Dinner illustrates as the meal which has highest nutrients where it comprise 43% of sodium, 37% of saturated fat and 23% of added sugar. Higher contribution of the added sugar depict in the snack as 42% and sodium and saturated fat contains 14% and 16% respectively.
