The pie charts illustrate the proportion of spare time consumed on six Internet activities (with the exception for email) by two group of people aging from 18 to 24 and 60 to 70.

Overall, people at both age ranges have various preference for Internet activities. However, while most of the young's free time is distributed to social networking, the older are interested in making booking for cinema and travel.

As can be from the pie charts, the young people allocate the majority of their free time to social networking and playing games, accounting for 24 % and 18 % respectively, which triple the time consumed by the elderly on the same activities. Whereas, the percentage of spare time the 60 to 70 - year- old people spent in making booking for cinema and travel, amounting to 29 %, is nearly six times higher than that of the young participants.

Although both of the young and old people like making purchases in their idle time, with nearly the same rate at 12 % and 14 % respectively, the latter are more involved in accessing films and cinema, at 21 %, that the former, at 17 %. Meanwhile, the old citizens spend 26 % of their free time in researching health data, 6 % higher than that of their following generations.
