The pie charts compare the proportion of volunteers categorizing in 6 organizations in the years of 2008 and 2014.
Overall, there are relative changes in the figures of all groups between these years. While the percentage of sport experienced the highest rise, the percentage of people in health care voluntary organization witnessed a considerable fall.
In 2008, education was by far the most attractive voluntary organization with 24% of participants, followed by those of environment and art with 21% and 18% respectively. Sport and others section stood at the same level of 15%, while the healthcare had the lowest propotion of 7%.
In 2014, the figure of environmental volunteers surpassed those of educational participants, accounting for one third of all. Leaping by 10%, the sport became the second largest voluntary organization. The art and others section figures decreased by 6% each, to 12% and 9% respectively. With a slight increase, health care had only 8% of volunteers enrolled by 2014.
