The given pie charts illustrate how many percent of water is used for different aims in six regions of the world.
In general, it is obvious that the percentage of water is consumed for agriculture is the highest in almost all areas, except in north america and europe.
Regarding north america and europe, industrial use is the main purpose of using water in both areas, taking up 48% and 53% respectively. A close similarity can be seen in the figures for water consumption for agriculture in north america and europe, which accounted for 39% and 32% respectively. Whereas north america was lower than europe in terms of water is used for domestic about 2%.
In terms of the four remaining regions, Central asia had the consumption of water for agriculture reached a peak of 88%. Meanwhile, that of South American, Southeast asia, and Africa were reckoned to be 71%, 81%, 84% respectively. In addition, the percentages of water for domestic use are usually larger than the figures for the industry in all 4 regions, it ranged from 5% to 12%.
