The given pie charts demonstrate the proportion of water spent on 3 purposes in 6 regions of the world namely North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia
Overall, the majority of water resource is used for creating properties and products in all mentioned region. It is clear that there is little difference between the rate of water spent on domestic purpose in 6 areas.
The North American and the European consume about half of their water resource for industry, 48% and 53% respectively. By contrast, people in the center of Asia spend by one tenth of that figure for those activities.
The agricultural purpose segment takes up highest proportion in 4 regions: South America, Africa, South East Asia and Central Asia. The small amount of water is spent for internal use over those areas. While countries in South America use 19%, people in the central and southeasterly Asia only spent 7% for domestic usage
