The diagrams above representate the various functions of water in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia. It was measured in percentage. Overall, in can be seen in six countries that the dominance water use was reached by agricultural except in Europe while the minimum use of water was possessed by industrial and domestic use acquired varies results.
According to the data, more than three quarter of using water was dominated by agricultural in Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia, consecutively 84%, 88%, and 81% while industrial use stood at 7%, 5%, and 12% then domestic use had the same amount around 7-9%. In short, the highly water use was achieved by Central Asia in agricultural subject among these countries.
Then in North America, South America, and Europe, water use in South America’s agricultural had the most number between another subjects in these countries, it was 71% whilst in North America and Europe exactly 39% and 32%. However, 10% located at South America’s industrial use, which was the lower amount of using water beside in other country, it was the upper number, North America and Europe obtained the percentage surely 48% and 53%. Following that, domestic use gained the similar percentage approximately 13-19%.
