Overall, the percentage of students who knew just English decreased significantly while the proportion of multilingual increased.
By the pie charts it is concluded that the students liked to learn another language increased from 20% in 2000 to 10% in 2010. By that time, pupils were reluctant to learn french and caused a 5% decline. Learning german witnessed a steady approach with no changes, stayed at 10%.
Spanish learners, who were the numerous in both years, grew up from 30 to 35 percent in 2000 and 2010, respectively. The other group that observed a growth were multilinguals who knew more than two languages except English, and went up for 5 percent from 10 to 15 percent. At last, the pupils who learned another language except french, german, and Spanish were 15 percent in 2000 and increased to 20% in 2010.
