The charts below show the results of a survey about what people of different age groups say makes them most happy.
The charts compare the outcomes of a survey conducted between people of two different age groups about the reasons behind their happiness.
Overall, it can be seen that achievement at work made people of both age groups happier while other factors were the least source of happiness for them.
Achievement at work accounted for nearly a quarter of happiness in both age groups which was 31% for younger group and 32% for older people. Similarlly, 24% of people above the age 30 stated that dong hobbies made them happy as compared to 22% for people below the age 30.
On the other hand, travelling also made young adults happier which represented 15%, however, for the old ones, staying with family was a way of being happy which accounted for 14%. Likewise, 18% of young adults voted good opportunities as a way of being happy whereas 20% of older people voted having financial security as a means of happiness. Lastly, the least percentage of happiness in younger and older adults was from other factors which represented 14% and 10% respectively.
