Given are the pie charts depicting the percentage of world forests in five different regions: South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Nouth America.
It is perceptible that Nouth America, South America, Europe, Africa are located in the largest forest areas, while Asia is the smallest proportion. Moreover, the percentage of timber in South America is the highest and Africa area stands at the lowest.
When it comes to the percentage of forest in five different regions in the world, Africa and Nouth America area are the two highest areas with 27% and 25% respectively, which account for more than half. Following by Europe, South America and Asia have approximately the same proportion with the rate of 2% separation per region, which are 18%, 16% and 14% respectively.
Regarding the rate of timber in Nouth America and South America which constitute for over a half with 30% and 23%. Following by 20% and 18% in Europe and Asia, which has a 4% increase in the proportion of timber compared to forests. Despite standing at the highest forest in the world, Africa has the lowest timber index with 9%.
