The charts show the main methods of transport of people travelling to one university

The charts give the information about the rate of people moving to a specific university by various transports in 2004 and 2009.
It is clear that the proportion of citizens using car decreased, while the figure for the rest of transport had an opposite trend. Also, car and bus were the most common vehicles that inhabitants used in both years.
In 2004, car accounted for the highest proportion, at 51% of the total transports used. The figures for bus and bicycle were slightly lower at 33% and 9% respectively. Meanwhile, only 4 percent of people walked to university and the lowest figure that can be seen in the percentage of citizens going by train at about 3%.
In 2009, the percentage of inhabitants driving car declined significantly to 28% was at second rank after bus with 46%. The figure for bicycle rose moderately to 16%. Similarly, there were minimal increases to 4% and 6% in the figures for train and walking respectively.
