The pie charts compare 4 different countries, namely India, Sweden, Morocco, and Viet Nam in terms of three sources which were used to produce electricity from 2003 to 2008.
Overall, it is clear that Viet Nam and Morocco did not use nuclear power. In addition, while fossil fuel was the largest source of electricity supply in Viet Nam and India, it was used with a very small number in two other countries.
In Morocco, hydro power occupied a very large majority of electricity production at 95% which was the highest proportion compared with three other countries. Meanwhile, people used fossil fuel rarely with low percentage, at 5%. In Viet Nam, hydro power accounted for 44%, and this figure was similar for fossil fuel, at 56 %.
Fossil fuel was a source which contributed quanity of electricity for India with the largest percentage, at 82%. By contrast, in Sweden, it was used with the smallest proportion, at 4%. Between 2003 and 2008, hydro power and nuclear power were two main supplies for Sweden, at 52 % and 44 % respectively. In India, this figures were quite low, at 14% for hydro power and only 4% for nuclear power.
