The bar graph illustrates the levels of polluted air in China, America, Japan and Australia, caused by three distinct sources in the year 2021. The levels are measured in PPM.
Overall, China is the country with highest levels of air pollution, while Australia is the least polluted. Besides that, each country has differences in terms of main source of pollution considering the three presented causes, which are electricity generation, transport and industry.
China presents more air pollution than the other countries, where the amount of pollution from industry achieve 80 PPM, followed by transport and electricity, which represents 70 and just above 60, respectivelly. In comparison, America is more polluted by transport (almost 60 PPM), and Electricity and industry have a similar level of around 30 PPM.
On the other hand, Japan has their maximum of pollution in just over 40 PPM, caused by industry, 30 PPM by transport and around 15 PPM from electricity. The country with less polluted air is Australia, where the sources of pollution have equivalent levels, which means that electricity generation, transport and industry are marking almost 20 PPM each.
