Overall, while both Hamburgers and Pizza indicated an upward trend, a reverse pattern can be seen to Fish and Chips throughout the period shown.
As can be seen from the gragh that although the consumption of Hamburgers and Pizza experienced the same starting point at approximately 10 times among Australian teenagers in the year 1975, Hamburgers finally became the top scorer, which was nearly fourfold that of its at the begining. Similarly, the consumption of Pizza grew substantially to over 80 times in the year 1995 before hitting the plateau in the remainder of the period.
In contrast to the times that the youth ate Pizza and Hamburgers, in 1975, Fish held the first rank with 100 times before seeing a significantly fluctuating fall to 40 times making itself the last at the end of the period. Additionally, after having showed a fluctuation in the vicinity of 70 times during the period of ten years between 1975 and 1985, Fish and Chips lost its momentum and continuosly dropped to 40 times in 2000.
