The figures present the variations of fastfood eaten by teens in Australia from 1975 and 25 years after. It is clearly seen that there was a decrease in consumptions of fish and chips while the other two types increased.
In 1975, the most popular ready to go food was fish and chips with 100 consumption but it suffered a fluctuation in 1980 where it dropped to 85 but it rose again after 5 years reaching 90. It then continously fell over the period until it ends below 50 almost half from the amount it started.
The opposite happened to pizzas and hamburgers which both had the same pattern. These 2 types started just below 10 more than fourfolds of the starting value of fish and chips. Pizzas steadily rose up to 83 in 1995 then plateaued after 5 years while hamburgers rocketed in 1985 with 84 then subsequently grew until 2000 where it reached 100 making it the leading fastfood type leaving fish and chips behind.
