The diagram below shows how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-the-minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts.

The diagram illustrates in what manner the Australian Bureau of Meteorology gathers the latest sources of weather so as to publicize to the civilians.

Overall, there are four steps to assemble the temperature and water steam in the atmosphere: estimating, inspection, solving and searching the mistakes, then broadcasting through the media. The four stages all come through technical personnels to ensure what to delete or what to specialize and to discover the problems if possible.

First of all, after the staffs from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology send satellites into space, the information will be sent to radar stations which connect to their satellites. Moreover, they also use drifting buoys to predict the weather. Satellites not only supply the anticipation but also send photos of the whole vision directly from space. Next, radar stations display the incoming weather through radar screen.

The combination of equipment from the first step (satellites, radar stations, and drifting buoys) is to result in the synoptic chart. Later, all the information gathered moves to preparation teams to figure out the possible troubles and be ready to upload to the media.
