The diagram below shows how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up to the minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts

The picture illustrates getting the knowledge on weather to produce data for forecasts in the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.

Generally, there are a number of steps to have incoming information to input on the computer. Furthermore, audiences can hear the information through various broadcasts.

Initially, the satellite photo is received from a satellite for the analyzing and forecasting the weather, while the radar screen is obtained from satellite, continuing to radar to obtain the information. Afterwards, there are three information resources sent to synoptic chart, and those can be seen through satellite, radar, and drifting buoy. Then, all of information is collected to the computer.

In the next stages, the computer personates the preparing broadcast for the TV, radio, and recorded announcement. On the TV, a newsreader gives the information to audiences living in houses, while the radio transmits the forecast to audiences in the car or living sea areas. Moreover, if people are in the military base or malls, they will hear the weather forecast through recorded announcement.
