The below diagram illustrates how a housing central heat system operates.
Overall, the process is splitted in two parts . One dealing with the collection and the conservation of cold water and another one which is a cyclic process deals with the transformation of cold water to hot water and dispatching it in the house. The process starts with cold water collection and ends with hot water dispatch in the house.
In the first part, cold water is collected directly in the storage tank through pipes . In other circumstances water is saved in a water tank to provision the storage tank via overflow pipes.
The second part starts with cold water boiling in a boiler using coal or gas then the result is dispatched in the house using radiators which contain small tubes.
Finally, at the end of the process cold water is returned to the system via tubes , after that it is pumped into the boiler using a water pump and the radiator continues the dispatching cycle.
