The given diagram outlines the different stage of generating electricity in hydroelectric power station.
To begin with, the first stage for generating electricity is creating high level of water reservoir by making high dam in fast flowing river, however, this dam work in two shift day and night. In day shift this water flow towards the reversible turbines from the help of small space near dam, which help to operate generator in day shift and exceed water goes to low level reservoir. Furthermore, when the turbines operate the generator with the help of high flow of water, its help to create power in power station and this power transfer to power line and finally power line supplies generated power to nation grid line.
Moreover, in night shift, reversible turbines pump back the exceed water and make the flow of water into high level reservoir from low level reservoir.
Overall, the diagram illustrates the process of creating electricity, which start from reserving water in high level and end with the supply of power to national grid.
