The diagram below shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.
The flow graph following describes the process to create green fuel using corn as a source. Summarizing the process is possible to divide it into three big stages.
The first part of the flow is represented in three steps there is: to collect corn, storage and mill. This stage is relevant to select a high-quality species of corn and remove any imperfect components.
Second, is realized the most important part of the ethanol production process. In this stage corn receive water and has cooked around four hours. After this starts a vital stage, the fermentation, the corn stayed there for 12hours and follow to the separation between liquid and solid elements.
Finally, the ethanol pass across the purification step, this is the last industrial process and makes the ethanol capable to be used in all different types of motors. In the end the ethanol is deposited in big tanks and later they are charged in trucks and delivered to final customers.
