The diagram illustrates the process of the production of electricity by using geothermal energy.
Overall, it is apparent that the whole process of the electricity production is divided into five stages, start from the cold water supply in the geothermal zone to the electricity supply via the generator.
At first, the cold water is pumped down 4.5 km below the ground level in the injection well. In the next step, the injection well inject the cold water to the geothermal zone where hot rocks heat the cold water and it is converted to the hot water. This hot water is preserved in the production well. By using pump, the hot water is pumped up and then it is preserved in the condenser. In the condenser, steam which is produced from the hot water helps to power the turbine. After that, the generator which is powered by the turbine produce electricity. Finally, electricity which is produced at the geothermal power plant is supplied to the desire places.
