The diagram below shows how solar panels can be used to provide electricity for domestic use.
The provided diagram depics the process of generating electricity for domestic use by solar panels.
As it is observed, the process consists of 5 steps beginning with solar energy absorption using solar panels and culminating in excess electricity storing and providing by utility meter and utility grid.
To begin, solar energy is absorbed by solar panels constructed on the roof of the house and then transformed into DC current. After that, it goes through an inverter, where it is altered to AC current. The inverter also takes the responsibility of controlling the electricity and production. Following this, solar electricity is distributed to resident’s home by an electrical panel lying on the right side, which is near to a utility grid.
In the subsequent stage, excess electricity will flow through the utility meter back to the utility grid, where it is stored to be provided when the amount of electricity used exceeds the produced one.
