The next step involves mixing the powder with water, then the resulting mixture is poured into moulds to form the shape of ceramic pots and left there for 4 to 6 hours to dry. After that, the newly shaped clay pots are taken out of the moulds and placed into ovens where they are heated at a temperature of over 1,000 degrees Celsius. The hardened pots are then coloured carefully before undergoing colour firing to become finished pots.
