The provided diagram illustrates stages of consumer goods production as well as feedback flows about the product.
The first stage begins with accumulating raw materials and manufactured components at a storage. A production planning field, which is the second stage, receives a design of a future product from a product research facility and necessary materials from the storage. The field also sends feedback to the storage if additional components are required. After the product has been planned, it is proceeded to assembly lines then the manufactured goods proceed to an inspection stage where several manufactured items are taken to a testing stage. At this stage the items are examined, then the results are sent to the design office. Afterward, if the goods are successful, they are delivered to a packaging field from where the products are shipped to stores to be sold. Stores are one of the most important stages since sales managers send feedback information to the product planning field and to a market research office which processes submitted information then also sends information to the design and advertisement offices.
