The diagram shows how chocolate is produced
The given diagram illustrates the process in which chocolate is produced. Overall, there are ten main steps in the production of chocolate, beginning with growing cacao trees and ending with producing liquid chocolate.
At the initial step, ripe red pods on the cacao trees, which are grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia, are harvested. After that, the cacao pods are peeled so that the white cocoa beans can be collected. Next, those cocoa beans are put into banana leaves, where they have begun the fermentation process. Once the white cocoa beans are fermented, they are dehydrated by being spread in the sun and then put in large sacks. Following that, the sacks of dried cocoa beans are transported to the factory by heavy-duty vehicles such as trains or lorries. At the eighth step, those beans are undergone a roasting phase at 350 degrees centigrade before being crushed to remove the outer shell. The process ends when the inner parts are taken to the boiler machine with two rolls and smoothly pressed into liquid chocolate.
