The diagram illustrates the process of making chocolate.
Overall, there are 10 steps in this process to make chocolate. The first step is collecting ripe red pods in the cacao trees and the last step is using machines to press cacao powders into liquid chocolate.
First of all, It is true that cocoa comes from cacao trees, which are made in South America, Africa, Indonesia, and when the pods are ripe and turn red, they will be harvested. The next step is removing the pod shells to collect white cacao beans inside. Secondly, these beans will be fermented before spreading on the ground so they can dry by the sun lights. Thirdly, these beans will be put in large sacks and transported by trains or lorries to the factory to manufacture. In addition, these raw cacao beans will be sent in the oven and roasted at a high temperature, of 350 degrees. In addition, beans will be crushed to remove shells and turned into powders by the machine. Finally, after being crushed into powders, it will be pressed by inner parts to turn into chocolate liquid.
