The diagram shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity

The diagram illustrates steps included in (involved in) the process of manufacturing electricity in a Geothermal plant.
Overall, the process undergoes a total of 5 steps, using cold water as material and concluding(ending) with transferring the electricity into the grid.
Firstly, cold water in the container on the ground is pumped down to an Injection well, which is at the depth of 4,5 km underground through a large straight pipe. Secondly, the water there transfers to the Geothermal zone and is simultaneously heated by hot rocks. In the next step, after going to a production well, which is far from the first well, the hot water is pumped up to another container on the surface called Condenser, where water turns into steam in the fourth step.
The steam continues going to a machine whose function is to produce directly electricity. In more detail, the movement of this hot steam powers rotation of the turbine, which provides energy for the generator’s operation. Finally, the Generator converts this energy into electricity, which subsequently is contributed to users through the electricity grid.
