Given are two maps depicting the modifications of an undetermined lakeside in two specific years in the past, 2000 and 2009.
It is conspicuous that the layout of the area is more likely to undergo some significant changes with the addition of several amenities to satisfy the human need.
To begin with the west of the river, there were two residential areas which were interleaved with an art centre in 2010; however, the second building was demolished to give space for a shopping centre. Besides, a school, similar to the first residential area, remained intact throughout the time. Adjacent to the unchanged residential building, there was a derelic warehouse and an old town, the former was dismantled and replaced by a car park and the latter was splited into two facilities including offices and university. Eventually, a cinema was erected to replace the art centre in 2009.
When it came to the east of the river, a small industrial complex and a residential area were totally knocked down to make room for a huge industrial complex with various modern factories inside. Another significant swing in the north of the river was the lake which was shrunk into a pond after a nine-year period.
