The diagram shows the process of recycling car batteries.
The diagram gives information about how to recycle old car batteries into new ones without new materials added except chemicals.
Overall, the process contains two lines and three different procedures, ending in new plastic cases, grids and glass & textile, and eventually produces new car batteries. Its raw materials are all reused from old car batteries.
Firstly, after being delivered from car garages to the factory, old batteries are classified into two lines. In this step, acid is picked up, mixed with chemicals, transformed into crystals. Those crystals are moulded to glass and textile as the end products, turning waste into useful stuff.
There are two separate procedures for another line, plastic and grid. New grids can be made through the furnace process with high temperatures, while old plastic cases are granted into powder and then turn into new plastic cases. Once putting those grids are into plastic cases, new car batteries are ready to use.
