The pie chart shows the percentage of people who use different types of transport in Edmonton while the table chart explains why people use their cars in the same city.
In general, it can be clearly seen that cars are the most popular means of transportation and that the vast majority of popolation own cars to go to work.
Looking at the pie chart, almost half the population use cars and thirty-five percent of people prefer using the LRT making it the second most favourite mode of transportation, while bus and taxis are the least common transportation for the rest of people.
As is presented in the table, 55% of people use cars for commuting to work. Car also are used for business purpose or for taking children to school, 45% and 40% respectively. Finally, only 15% of drivers need car to do shopping, and, likewise, 15% of people need to travel by car for leisure activities.
