The given diagrams illustrate the process that is used to produce cement, and show how people use it to make concrete for purposes relating to building.
Overall, there are five distinct stages in the production of cement, and there is only one step in that of concrete. The process of manufacturing cement commences with the missing of materials and ends at the packing stage.
Limestone is one of the two ingredients that are used in the production of cement, along with clay. All two raw ingredients are first crushed in a crushing machine. The crushed powder then undergoes a blending phase machine in a mixer, after which the mixture is passed through a rotating heater to create liquid cement. Following this, liquid the substance is transferred to a grinder which is used to grind it into the powder of cement. Finally, the powder is packed in yellow receptacles for cement.
Looking at the process of making concrete, gravel makes up 50% of the ingredients that is used to manufacture concrete, along with a quarter of
sand, 15% cement and 10% water. All ingredients are put in a cyclindrical mixer and rotated until concrete is made.
