The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The diagrams illustrate the process and equipment of manufacturing cement, and necessary stages to produce concrete.
Overall, the process of making cement consists of 4 main stages, and cement is mixed with 3 other materials for concrete manufacture. This process begins with limestone and close and end up with cement, after that concrete production starts.
Firstly, limestone and clay are collected, put into crusher and become powder. After that, powder is mixed and melted in a rotating heater. Undergo heat treatment, there is step of rubbing melted powder, which is cement. Subsequently, it is wrapped in bags.
In addition, concrete manufacture starts by putting cement with proportion of 15%, 10% water, 25% sand and 50% gravel into concrete mixer. This machine blends all of these materials by twirling. Finally, concrete is produced completely.
