The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes. Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where releva

The given pictures illustrate the procedure of forming cement and how it is applied to create concrete with suitable instruments and components. Generally, producing cement is a rather sophisticated and multiple - step process involving various 5 phases, whereas concrete production is not complicated like that as it has an only step which is mixing.
First and foremost, the main essential materials for cement production are limestone and clay which are crushed to totally metamorphose into power. Then, it is placed in a mixer in order to combine and passed through a cylindrical rotating heater with the aim at heating in a significant amount of time. Until this heating stage is accomplished, the resulting mixture is finely ground before it completely converted into cement. Eventually, the finished cement is packaged in large bags ready for purchasing.
In comparison, the technique of concrete manufacturing was more simplified with a concrete mixer which is applied for mixing with the four ingredients that their proportions need to be adhered. The cement in needed (15%), water (10%), sand a quarter and gravel (small granules of stone) are exactly a half. These are all poured into the concrete mixer in order to combine them and ultimately makes up concrete
