the diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The flow charts illustrate the process of cement production, in which devices including crusher, mixer, rotating heater and grinder is required, and the production of the concrete for the raw material of construction. Overall, it is clear that there are five stages for cement making and it is easy to produce concrete.
Starting with the first flow chart, limestone and clay are put together into a crusher where they are crushed into powder. Then the powder will be sent to a mixer for being further mixed. The mixed stuff will be carried by a pipe to a rotating heater and be heated completely. Finally, the powder is transmitted by a belt to a grinder, ground and turned into cement, which will be packed into bags.
Turning now to the second graph, 15% cement is put into a concrete mixer, together with 10% water, 25% sand and 50% gravel (small stones). After the machine operates for a while, the concrete comes out.
