The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes. Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given diagrams illustrate the process of cement production and how concrete is produced. It can be clearly seen that the cement production comprises four stages. While the producing of concrete consists of two stages.
According to the first diagram which explains the stages of cement’s formation. In the first stage, the clay is crushed with limestone to produce the powder. After that, the powder exposes to the heat inside rotating heater to turn into the grinder. Likewise, in the last stage, the grinder forms cement which transfers to bags.
When it comes to the second diagram which gives information about the production of concrete. In the first stage inside the cement mixer which mixed the water, cement, sand, and gravel by rates 10%, 15%, 25%, 50% respectively to form small stones.
to sum up, it is clear from the diagrams that there are four important stages in cement production while concrete production has two stages. Moreover, cement is produced by mixing two elements while concrete is produced by mixing four elements that gravel has the highest proportion.
