The vertical bar chart illustrates the information about in European city people use four different modes of transport to travel between 1950 and 1990. The data has been calibrated in percentage.
At the first glance, it can be clearly seen that, The ratio of traveler used in initial year was highest on foot at 38 followed by bike at 27. Whereas, the lowest percentage of commuters can be reported for car at 5 and the second lowest percentile of traveler used bus at 17.
Moving further, in 1970, there were almost same percentage of commuters used Bus, Car, Bikes and foot in the range of 22 and 26. Moreover, in 1990, the highest ratio of traveler can be witnessed for Car at around 40 While the percentage of commuters used Bike and Foot was lowest at almost 5 followed by bus at 15.
Overall, in the last year, the most favorable mode of transport was Car and the less preferable vehicle was Bike.
