ELECTRONIC GOODS AND SERVICES BY AGE OF HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
The bar chart reveals information on using electronic goods and services by age of head of household. Units are measured in pounds per week (ppw).
From an overall perspective, there was a significant difference in the five selected aged groups: 30-, 30-49, 50-64, 65-74, 75+. Actually, the number of TVs, videos, computers was significantly higher than that of TV, satellite rental, internet, excepting for adults aged 75+. The figure given for population aged 30-49 used TV, video, computer appeared to be by far the highest one among the five chosen age groups, with over 12 pounds per week (ppw). Conversely, the quantity of head of household aged 75+ was found to be the lowest one, with around 2ppw.
Surprisingly, the aged 30- and 30-49 spent to TV, Videos, computers was found to be over 11ppw, being significantly higher over two times than that of TV, satellite rental, internet (around 5ppw). The figure given for adults aged 75+ constantly stood at the lowest both electronic goods and services, with 1,8 ppw and 2,1 ppw, respectively.
It is interesting to note that, the frequency of the aged 50-64 and 65-74 was determined to be in the middle group. The number of the age 50-64 group spent on electronic goods was just under 8ppw and services were about 5ppw. The same of the aged 65-74, they spend on electronic goods was 5 ppw and services was just over 3 ppw
