The line graphs illustrate how much money was spent on children's sports by British parents and how many children who participated in 3 categories of sports, namely football, athletics and swimming in Britain over the course of 6 years, starting in 2008.
Looking at the graphs, it is immediately obvious that the amount of money spent on children's sports experienced an upward trend. In addition, football was most popular sport for children in Britain over the period from 2008 through 2014.
As can be seen from the given graphs, the money spent by British parents on their children's sports at the beginning of the period shown stood at 20 pounds. This figure increased dramatically to 32 pounds in 2014.
It is also worth noting that the number of children who participated in football was 7.5 million in 2008. This figure rose slightly to 9 million in 2014. A similar trend was witnessed in swimming participation. The children participated in swimming climbed from 2 million to 3 million over the period 2008 through 2014. There was a considerable increase in the number of children participated in athletics from 0.5 million to 5 million over the same period.
