The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the greenhouse gas emission which results from this energy use.
Summerise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make a comparison where relevant.
The primary chart exemplifies the utilization of energy, while the second chart depicts the emission of greenhouse gases from this energy usage by an average Australian household.
Overall, heating is the most significantly used form of energy, whereas the least consumption of energy is observed by cooling. Water heating made the most contribution towards greenhouse gas emission; however, the smallest part of this segment is cooling.
Firstly, the most striking feature of the graph is that slightly above two-fifth of energy is used for heating, whereas the greenhouse gas emission through this is exactly three-tenths which is just a third. Similarly, the greenhouse gas emission because of water heating is 32%, which is slightly above the usage of 30%. However, the least used form of energy is cooling and lighting which accounts for 2% and 3% respectively. The emission of greenhouse gases through this is about double resulting in 3% and 8 %.
Moreover, approximately a quarter of energy is exploited for refrigeration and other appliances and greenhouse gas emission due to this is 42%, which is slightly over a two-fifth
