overall, the greenhouse gas emissions recorded highest in almost all power usage whereas, Australian families energy used is recorded lowest as compared to household energy use.
heating in the Australian house contributes to the main energy with 42% of usage whereas, there is a drastic fall in greenhouse gas discharge which is recorded 15 percent. the second main energy use in the household is water heating which is 30 % while in greenhouse gas emission there is a smaller increment of 2%. Refrigeration is half of the greenhouse gas emission which is 7% in household power use. there is significant growth in other appliances of greenhouse gas emission use which is recorded 28% however, in household energy use it is almost half with 15%. comparing colling as well as lighting, colling remains almost the same with a slight difference of 1 %in greenhouse gas emission while lighting contributes to 8 % in greenhouse power emission and it is half of the household energy use which is 4 %.
