The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two charts compares the percentage of energy consumed for various purposes and how much greenhouse gas is emitted by an average australian family.
Overall, it is evident that while the percentage of spending household energy on water heating reachs a peak, the opposite trend is true for cooling in both charts. Moreover, the figures of heating between energy in use anf emissions is the most differential over the period research.
As the chart has shown that the proportion of using energy in australian household for heating accounted for 42%, which is estimated to be the largest consumption in comparison with only 2% for cooling. Besides, 30% of spending energy is generated by water heating, twice as much as the percentage of other applicances and the rest (including lighting and refigeration) witnesses a trivibal proportion, under 7%.
When it comes to greenhouse gas released, the water heating and other applicances are two of the major causes, standing at 32% and 28% respectively. Furthermore, it is obvious that the figures of emissions from heating makes up about 15%, which is followed by 14% from refigeration. To stabilize, both cooling anf lighting still hit the bottom at one-tenth of total gas emissions
