Overall, it can be clearly seen that the majority of people in Liverpool preferred apartments, while semi-detached houses were the most popular choices in London and Manchester. In addition, terraced houses recorded the lowest figures shown in all three cities
Turning to the chart for details, apartments were by far the most popular option for citizens in Liverpool, compared to about 29% and 19% those in London and Manchester respectively. More residents in London and Manchester favored semi-detached houses with 38% of the total population each, which was two times higher than those in Liverpool (19%)
Looking at other houses, people in Manchester preferring detached houses accounted for about 35% of the total population in comparasion with 25% and 15% of those in London and Liverpool respectively. Terraced houses were a much less prevalent choices, with only 19% of people in London and just around 10% those in Manchester and Liverpool.
