The given graph compares the sales in different book genre namely children, adult fiction and educational during the years 2002 to 2006. Obviously, educational and children’s book’s sales experienced rise and people bought fewer adult fiction at end of this period.
In 2002, most popular books was adult fiction with nearly 45% amd children’s book took the second place with just above 30%. Also, educational books accounted for nearly 25% of sales which is less popular one’s. afterward, sales of adult fiction experienced a moderate decline in next year and reach to just below 40%, while, percentage of people who bought children’s book and educational increase to 40% and 30% respectively. Increase of sales of children book has been continued during this period and reached to the peak of 55% in 2006. Moreover, adult fiction sales after a tiny increase in 2004 surged to lowest amount (30%). However, sales of educational books after a small fluctuation reached to above 30% in 2006.
Overall, sales of children book withastand increase during this years, howewver, sales of adult and educational book has a fluctuation.
