The line graph illustrates how much three types of fast food namely Hamburger, Fish & Chips and Pizza which the UK citizens ate weekly between 1970 and 1990.
It is clear that the amount of Pizza and Hamburger consumed rose significantly during that period. By contrast, there was a slight fall in Pizza consumption.
In 1970, the amount of Pizza consumed per week was highest, at around 300 grams, while the figure for Fish & Chips and Hamburger was remarkably lower, at only around 80 and 60 grams respectively. However, from that time to 1985, there were considerable changes. The quantity of Fish & Chips eaten went up rapidly from approximately 80 grams to about 300 grams, that of hamburger also increased about 50 grams compared with before time, meanwhile, the figure for Pizza experienced a steep fall to under 200 grams.
In 1990, the amount of Fish & Chips and hamburger were peaked at about 400 grams and 300 grams respectively. At the same time, the UK people witnessed the lowest consumption in Pizza, at only approximately 200 grams.
