The line chart illustrates the amount of energy consumed by the USA citizen since 1980 and predicted in 2030.
At first, it's can be clearly seen that petrol and oil was the most source of energy used with 35 quadrillion units in 1980, which it's as same as the total of energy consumption by coal and natural gas combined in the same year. Three sources of power which are: nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower were together stayed at the bottom of the chart with nearly 5 quadrillion units.
In the past, the amount of energy consumed using coal is less than natural gas but in 2030, it's projected to be higher than the amount of natural gas 5 quadrillion units. From the year 1980 to 2000, petrol and oil energy source fluctuated then after 30 years later, it's still believed to be the most consuming fuel. Also in 2030, nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower energies are predicted to rise only 2-3 quadrillion units, respectively.
