The graph below gives information about car ownership in Britain from 1971 to 2007.
The graph chart depicts the data regarding car ownership in Britain over almost 40 years which starting from 1971.
Overall, it is clearly evident that people with single car was the peak point while people with no car declined till the end. And people with more than one or two car increased slightly in that duration.
Looking into more details, the number of who had a single car fluctuated between this three and half decade which started from about 44% and ended with the level-off this same percentage. The highest rise in single car ownership visibled in that five year which began from 1995. The number of having two or three car augmented slowly. In total, by approximately 5% growth observed in the following years.
At the beginning period, only at about 8% people had two car. Then this percentage showed upward and oscillated trend and moved to almost 27% in this fourty years. However, the information of people who had no car showed opposite trend. The data proved that having no car had a sharp decrease and turned into nearly 25% in 2007.
