The graph below gives information on the performance of a train company in October and November in 2008.
Figure 1 indicates the percentage of trains delayed in October and November of 2008. Figure 2 shows the proportion of trains not running in the same period.
Overall, both two lines fluctuated in the period surveyed. While trains tended to be late in the second week of November, the highest percentage of cancelation was seen in the first two weeks of October.
Looking first at figure 1, until the second week of November, the train company appeared to have a good performance, when the percentage of train running late declined to its lowest rate at under 10% at the end of October. However, only within week 2 of November, this figure hit its peak at over 50%, before falling slightly to 40% in week 3.
Regarding figure 2, the first two weeks of October experienced the highest percentage of train canceling (7% in week 2, October). This figure thereafter crashed to only 1%, then fluctuated continuously. In week 3, November, it reached 4%.
