A graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005.
The line graph illustrates how much money was spent on books in four countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, and Austria over the course of 10 years, starting in 1995.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that three of them experienced upward trends with the exception of Italy. Besides that, the amount of money which spent on books in Germany registered the highest figures.
The amount of money which spent on books in Germany stood at 80 million US dollars. This figure slightly increased during 2 years, to about 90 million US dollars in 1999. A similar trend was witnessed in Austria, which rose to 40 million US dollars in the same years.
The amount of money spent on books in Italy stood at 50 million US dollars. This figure fluctuated during 10 years, reached about nearly 60 million US dollars in 2005. And in France, there was a slight upward over 10 years, from nearly 50 million US dollar to about 70 million US dollars in 2005.
